SorbetMedia love character design and the development of toy products both for marketing and production. “The adventures of Voopa the Goolash’ is an Australian animated TV series originally created by Photon Worldwide, production company IlluminArty and Hollywood producer Robert Raymond. We were approached by Photon Worldwide to help the development of the license into a series of toy products, both Vinyl Characters and Plush toys for children around the world. We were also tasked with creating some illustrations and artwork to support the brand and its marketing.

We worked alongside toy design artist and designer Andy Couzens from Toy Design Matters to generate some outstanding character concepts which we generated into some great 3D marketing visuals, toy products and illustrations to help generate interest in the brand license.

Organic Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)

As part of our site update we provided a site optimisation service in order to ensure each page was coded correctly, allowing the site as a whole to work harder for JHDD. Our aim in this process is to focus on key search terms (e.g Exhibition Stand Design) to drive more relevant traffic to their sites making them rank naturally higher in search engine results. Both their corporate sites work together for the Digital Signage and the Exhibition market, so we needed to revise how search engines were driving traffic back towards both sites by incorporating key search terms and relevant content to ensure better success on the internet. The addition of a fully featured blog module has also given the client an opportunity to post relevant, informative content on a regular basis.

Web Design.

After you have spoke to us about your new business idea or maybe you already have an existing company and you feel a makeover is on the horizon, then we would definitely be the people to talk too. After a full review of your direction and where you would like to position yourself on the web we would then produce around 3 design concepts for you to choose from. We may need to alter a few colours or possibly add a few extra images ready for the web but that’s just all part of the fun.

Web site Build process.

We normally know straight away what type of website you need after a few moments talking to you in the first meeting. This can vary from a full HTML site, possibly a WordPress site or maybe a Flash site. Each application has its advantages and disadvantages. The key is to make your idea and direction fit perfectly with the web applications available.

Content Managed site.

So you need a site that you want to log into and add your own content, pictures and images. That’s fine and we have a few options. The most popular option is to have a WordPress driven web site that allows you to add blogs and update and even new pages via a simple login feature. We use WordPress because its an open source application which means it becomes affordable to clients and you don’t need to pay any annual licence fees.

What SorbetMedia needs from you.

If you are seriously thinking about launching your business online then we will need a few things to start. The most important peace of information we need from you is the TEXT you wish to present to possible customers and clients.

Depending on how many pages or if the page needs content we will need this from you. If you need help with the content then we can write sections or sometimes all of the content for you. This does come at an extra charge but it will be optimised to work with search engines and hopefully gain you a better position within the matrix of the search log rhythms.

If you have images for us to work from we will need those too. We can source images for you but if you have a catalogue or quite a few products to show us, SorbetMedia recommend you do these yourself to keep the cost low. Alternatively if you would rather we do this for you then this can also be arranged for an additional cost.

Networking your site.

Networking your site through different media sources has grown over the last few years. Many companies use this function to showcase updates, new products, latest news and featured articles. This is designed to drive traffic to your business through online trafficking and networking capabilities. In short: you can gain an audience or a following with sites such as Facebook and Twitter. If people see what you have to offer then they can potentially click through to your site.

Launch date.
